I HATE CONSTRUCTION!

This morning I woke up to huge crashing noices outside my bedroom window! I was not too happy about this... I think they are demolishing a building behind right outside my window. sometimes I think they have got the wrong building and are actually trying to tear down this one; my bed is literally shaking right now. And no, I am not living in a shady part of London.

Vandon House is the name of the building I am living in. I am staying in room 3/9 which usually means the third floor, but its really the fourth. Everywhere here there is the ground floor (our first floor) and then the first floor right above it. This means I have the pleasure of hiking up 3 flights of stairs everytime I go to my room. I have two roomates: Lynn, and Brittany. The 3 of us having been getting along pretty well so far. We have our own bathroom, it is a good size, but we have the smallest glass shower I have ever seen! Our room isnt very big and there is definitely not enough room for all of our clothes. All my things have been shoved in a drawer or just left in my suitcase. Sometimes you jsut have to look at all of this craziness going on and just laugh!

Buckingham Palace is just around the corner from Vandon House, and Westminster Abby is only a few minute walk from here. Other than this construction, I couldn't have imagined a better location to live in.

Going to the Globe Theatre was an amazing experience. The show goes on rain or shine. It was definitly raining! My new friend Lauren and I both bought waterproofs (aka poncho) while we were there. We looked like goofballs but we still had a great time!
